Pursuant to the Law 4817 on Work Permits of Foreigners, foreigners who wish to work in Turkey shall obtain work permit.
According to the Law 6458 on Foreigners and International Protection, work permit shall substitute for residence permit. Foreigners apply to the Turkish Consulates in the country of citizenship or where they legally reside and enter into Turkey by obtaining “visa for the purpose of work”.
